WHERE WE WORK

CEVA is working in the Western Himalayan tribal regions of Pangi valley, Bharmour, Kinnaur and Lahaul & Spiti. Pangi Valley is one of the most backward tribal blocks of Chamba district. The entire district is one among the most backward and poorly developed district of India. The altitude of the valley ranges from 2,000m to 6,000m. Heavy snowfall and semi arctic like climate make the life very tough here in this area. Killar, the headquarters of Pangi valley is situated at an altitude of 2,600m. Pangwals and Bhots are the inhabitants of Pangi valley. The life of tribal people especially women in the Pangi, Bharmour and Lahaul & Spiti is the worst with the lowest literacy rate
